ROSEMARY A BATES MD PA in Plano, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to serve as a liaison between providers and patients. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced medical office, and prior office experience.

You will prepare for visits, assist with basic medical care, perform routine tests, administer vaccines, maintain clean rooms, and manage lab results and prescriptions.

Formación

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in a medical office setting is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, notes, and setting up medical equipment.
• Assist Providers with basic medical care and minor office procedures.
• Perform ancillary tests (flu, COVID, strep, mono, hCG).
• Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections.
• Maintain clean rooms, instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and address patient questions about medical issues and visit needs.
• Monitor lab results and assist with prescription calls and basic office duties.

• Preform ancillary tests, i.e. Flu, COVID, Strep, Mono, HCG
• Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections
• Clean rooms, instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
