Studio on Willow is a premier salon in Little Silver, NJ, seeking an enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team and grow in the beauty industry alongside talented professionals in a dynamic, creative salon environment.

You will assist stylists with client services, greet clients, keep the salon clean, mix color formulas under supervision, manage supplies, and help during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Cosmetology school enrollment or licensure preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology school enrollment or licensure preferred but not required.
• Passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Flexible availability including weekends.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon floor, styling stations, and backbar
• Mix and apply color formulas and toning treatments under stylist supervision
• Manage towel inventory, laundry, and replenishment of salon supplies
• Schedule appointments and answer phones as needed
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth salon operations
