Job summary

Building Blocks is seeking an enthusiastic Play Assistant to support daily routines, engage in hands-on play, and help children feel safe and seen in our Texas classrooms.

You will work with a small, caring team, participate in regular training, communicate with families via the parent app, and enjoy a stable, family-friendly schedule with no weekends or holidays and opportunities to grow within our three locations. Meals provided during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass state and federal background checks.
• Energetic, caring, and passionate about working with children.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team to meet the needs of each child.
• Engage children with stories, songs, and playful learning.
