Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking an aseptic cleaning team member to maintain sterile production areas and support contamination control.

You will complete on-site gowning and cleaning training, manage records, and work with SOPs to ensure quality and compliance while collaborating with a cross-functional team. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with manufacturing experience, proficiency in English, and the ability to operate standard software systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience
• Proficiency in CGMP and safety regulations
• Ability to learn industry-standard software such as QTS, PDMS, PFES and EAMS
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive working environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment
• Maintain electronic records of completed tasks using Pfizer log system
• Work in aseptic production areas and gowning requirements
• Complete on-site training for cleaning protocols in aseptic and non-aseptic environments

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

• As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment.
• Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets.
• Successfully complete the on-site aseptic gowning training program and demonstrate the ability to work in aseptic conditions while wearing the required gowning (complete coverage including hood and goggles) for extended periods.
• Successfully complete on-site training to achieve and maintain qualification in cleaning protocols for both aseptic and non-aseptic environments.
• Training includes hands-on proficiency with specialized cleaning equipment such as state-of-the-art equipment prep chambers, floor scrubbers, aseptic mopping systems, and solution sprayers.
• Execute cleaning and sanitization tasks—both routine and non-routine—according to standard procedures and within required timeframes.
• Maintain stocking levels of gowning and ancillary equipment for use in the aseptic production areas of the plant.
• Ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain precise electronic records of completed tasks utilizing the Pfizer electronic log system.
• Utilize basic computer skills to navigate common applications (Word, outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Work effectively within a team environment to complete routine tasks, identify and resolve contamination control issues, remediate from planned and unplanned events, and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity by adhering to Pfizer’s standards, guidelines, and values, and by taking ownership of ethical decision-making.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience
• Ability to learn and use industry-standard software such as the Quality Tracking System, Pfizer Document Management System, Pfizer Electronic Log System, and Enterprise Asset Management Solution
• Good interpersonal skills to maintain employee relations and foster a positive working environment.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
• Commitment to adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and safety regulations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Must be able to lift 35-45 lbs. sporadically and 10-20 lbs. frequently; including lifting above shoulders, requiring a full range of motion.
• Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (head to toe gowning including hood, facemask and goggles).
• Standing/physical activity for up to 8 to 10 hours depending on assigned area.
• Must be able to withstand routine exposure to cleaning chemicals in use.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Must be capable of performing data entry into electronic systems.

Non/Standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements

• Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights and weekends as required and overtime as required for business needs.
• Working hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Other Job Details

The salary for this position ranges from $18.99 to $31.65 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
