Jobot in Lathrop, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead aseptic manufacturing design, validation, and optimization for pilot to full-scale production. You will develop PFDs/P&IDs, author critical SOPs, and collaborate across Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience 5+ years in food processing/manufacturing.
• Experience scaling from pilot to full-scale production.
• Sanitary design and aseptic processing knowledge.
• Experience creating PFDs and P&IDs with CAD.
• Experience with PLC and HMI systems.
• Knowledge of food processing equipment sizing/specifications.
• Experience writing SOPs, docs, and project proposals.
• Strong root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, validation, and improvement in aseptic manufacturing.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for pilot and commercial lines.
• Create and manage technical docs, project plans, and schedules.
• Ensure GMP and FSMA compliance.
• Write SOPs and batch documentation.
• Lead equipment qualification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Define operating parameters and process ranges.
• Evaluate manufacturing capability for new/existing products.
• Support new product development and pilot trials.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement root-cause solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and yield optimization.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Identify cost reductions, capital improvements, and upgrades.
• Develop ROI analyses and technical proposals for capital projects.
• Assist training of operators and maintenance teams.
• Support scale-up from pilot to production.
