AbbVie Inc. is expanding its Durham, NC manufacturing campus and seeks a Project Director of Aseptic Operations to lead start-up readiness and manufacturing excellence. You will own aseptic suites design, automation adoption, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality production.

The role emphasizes building a capable team, defining staffing, and guiding transitions from project delivery to ongoing operations within a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, manufacturing, or relevant field.
• Extensive aseptic manufacturing leadership experience in cGMP environments.
• Experience leading capital projects, C&Q, start-up and operational readiness.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of aseptic manufacturing suites across modalities with scope, schedule, budget accountability.
• Coach package leads for filling machines, isolators, lyophilizers, and autoclaves.
• Represent Manufacturing in project lifecycle providing operational requirements and decisions.
• Lead automation, robotics, data analysis, and digital twins within suites.
• Build and lead startup manufacturing organization with staffing and training plans.
