Piramal Pharma Solutions Inc. in Lexington, KY seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead to serve as on-the-floor resource for manufacturing operators and oversee preparation, filling, capping, sterilization, and lyophilization production.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor (Shift Nights) and requires leading a team, ensuring GMP compliance, accurate documentation, and ongoing on-the-job training. You’ll monitor batch records, maintain equipment, and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of aseptic or other cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to operate processing equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, OSHA, FDA).
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists operators by checking processes, setting up, troubleshooting, and product change-overs.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of manufacturing area.
• Ensure accuracy of the team’s manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training to new hires.
• Perform end-of-shift reports as needed.
• Operate and maintain production equipment and quality controls.
• Weigh and verify raw materials for batch integrity.
• Read and follow SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Monitor batch records and ensure timely closure of documentation.
