Fresenius Kabi in Wilson, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership in high-speed aseptic filling and packaging. You will optimize equipment layouts and ensure cGMP compliance while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include supporting operations post-installation, driving CI initiatives (OEE, Lean), and implementing PLC control systems and AutoCAD-based design changes.

Qualifications

• Technical leadership in machine design and process optimization for high-speed aseptic filling and packaging.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.
• Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
• Contract specialty vendors, partnering to implement design specifications and install equipment.
• Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement projects.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean) across the manufacturing function.
• Optimize equipment and process functionality.
• Drive cGMP compliant equipment design; modify existing designs using AutoCAD.
• Implement control systems, PLC programming for highly automated manufacturing technologies.
