Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Aseptic Manufacturing Associate for weekend nights at the Butterworth Facility.

The role involves aseptic filling, equipment prep, data recording, and cleaning in Grade 5 to ISO 8 cleanrooms under supervision. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or high school diploma with multiple years of relevant experience, sterile manufacturing background, and respirator/PAPR qualifications.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with required experience for Level III (sterile env).
• Qualification for use of a full-face respirator is required; PAPR for hazardous chemicals.

Aseptic Manufacturing Associate (Weekend Nights)

Overview of this Position:

The Aseptic Manufacturing Associate (AMA) is responsible for performing various routine manufacturing tasks following established procedures and cGMP regulations under guidance of a production supervisor and/or senior management.

Shift Details:

The primary location for this role is the Butterworth Facility, on shift D (Friday - Sunday, and every other Thursday, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am).

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree OR a high school diploma and 2+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level I role.
• A bachelor’s degree OR a high school diploma and 3+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level II role. Must also have experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment.
• A bachelor’s degree OR a high school diploma and 4+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level III role. Must also have experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment.
• Qualification for use of a full-face respirator is required when working with hazardous chemicals. PAPR is required for working with hazardous chemicals during chemical dispense and addition activities.

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Perform equipment preparation, bulk drug formulation, and aseptic filling duties as needed.
• Accurately document data and complete batch records as needed.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization duties as instructed by the applicable procedure.
• Successfully complete facility’s aseptic gowning and manufacturing qualification program.
• Perform duties in Grade 5, ISO 6, ISO 7, and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
