Job summary

American Regent in Ohio is seeking an EMT I to support environmental monitoring in the sterile manufacturing facility. You will perform air, water, surface and personnel monitoring and ensure compliance with cGMPs and company SOPs.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team, and proficiency with MS-Office. Prior microbiology lab or manufacturing exposure is preferred, and maintaining Class 100 certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in microbiology, biology or related field preferred.
• Academic or industry lab/manufacturing experience with focus on microbiology preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique preferred.
• Must maintain Class 100 Certification for EM support.
• Ability to read documents in Standard English (SOPs, schedules, manuals).

Responsibilities

• Plan daily workload to meet requirements.
• Conduct environmental monitoring (air, surface, personnel) in sterile areas.
• Conduct water sampling throughout facility.
• Record results and report any deviations.
• Input data into database and perform trend analysis.
• Communicate discrepancies to supervision/management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
