Job summary

American Regent seeks an Environmental Monitoring Technician I to conduct environmental monitoring in the sterile manufacturing facility, including air, surface and water sampling, and personnel monitoring.

You will plan daily workloads, record results, and report deviations while adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, and health & safety standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in microbiology, biology or related field preferred.
• Academic or industry work experience in laboratory or manufacturing with focus on microbiology preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique preferred.
• Must maintain Class 100 Certification for EM support.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with MS-Office and basic PC skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily workload to meet requirements.
• Conduct environmental monitoring activities including air, surface and personnel inside sterile manufacturing areas.
• Conduct water sampling throughout facility.
• Record results and report deviations from specifications.
• Communicate discrepancies to supervision/management upon discovery.
• Ensure all work is performed and documented per SOPs, cGMPs and safety requirements.
• Input data into database and perform trend analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
