Job summary

American Regent, Inc. in Shirley, NY, seeks an Environmental Monitoring Technician I to support aseptic manufacturing. You will collect samples of air, water, surfaces, and personnel, document results, and help trend data in LIMS while maintaining cGMP compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma, microbiology experience, gowning qualifications, and the ability to work in clean rooms, overtime as needed, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform environmental monitoring sampling (air, surfaces, water) in controlled areas.
• Maintains gowning qualifications and aseptic technique in clean rooms.
• Records results per SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
• Uses Labware LIMS for data entry and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring sampling (air, water, surfaces, personnel).
• Complete incubation, transfer and readings as needed.
• Record results and report deviations per specifications.
• Capture sampling life cycles in LIMS and assist with data retrieval and trending.
• Maintain accurate records in Labware LIMS and docs per SOPs.
• Communicate discrepancies to supervision/management.
