Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of San Antonio is seeking a Level Technician in the Service Department in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role requires diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing detailed Digital Vehicle Inspections, and coordinating with Parts to obtain necessary components.

The ideal candidate has ASE Master Technician status or is pursuing it, with 2–4 years of related automotive experience, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA-compliant and safety-focused, you will work in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two to four years related experience.
• Currently ASE Certified as Master Technician or working towards Master Tech status
• Advanced Automotive maintenance, removal, and replacement skills
• Advanced automotive diagnostic knowledge and skills.
• Must keep and maintain Master Technician status while employed at Mercedes-Benz of San Antonio.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be insurable to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Mercedes-Benz of San Antonio and factory standards.
• Impeccable, detailed Digital Vehicle Inspections.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and performs necessary repairs.
• Communicates with Parts Professional to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
