Job summary

Envirotest is seeking ASE-certified Master Diagnosticians to join the Motorist Assistant Center in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on diagnosing and educating motorists about emissions-related concerns without heavy tools or shop work.

You will travel to Envirotest stations across Maryland, leveraging diagnostic expertise to guide customers and ensure correct repairs are identified and documented. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
• Familiarity with test equipment, including digital multimeters.
• Advanced understanding of the principles of electromechanical operation.
• A working understanding of pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vehicles to diagnose and troubleshoot emission-related malfunctions.
• Compile vehicle information needed for motorists and repair facilities to ensure the motorists’ vehicles receive proper repairs.
• Record vehicle test and diagnostic results, including MIL status, DTCs, readiness and related information.
• Visually inspect vehicles presented for repair waivers to determine whether repair work is complete.
• Perform PM and repair of instruments and equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
