Job summary

CarMax Elk Grove is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles from engines to suspensions, ensuring safety and reliability. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility, using advanced tools and ongoing training to master CarMax standards.

You will gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles, while upholding EH&S rules and delivering customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• ASE certifications preferred and applicable to role.
