Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Yuba City is seeking a Main Line Technician to diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles. You will document work, maintain safety standards, and keep the shop organized while pursuing ASE and manufacturer certifications.

The role offers a competitive flat-rate pay range of $22.00 to $45.00 per hour, a full-time schedule, and incentives based on production productivity. Employment benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Manufacturer-certified in Lube & Maintenance, Engine Repair, Suspension/Steering, Brake and HVAC.
• Minimum of 1 ASE certification (Master preferred).
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level >100% Repairs.
• Three+ years automotive technical experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Record time and document test procedures on repair orders.
• Use shop supplies economically and maintain an organized workspace.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean after service.
• Acquire and maintain ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Review technical bulletins as assigned.
• Communicate with dealership staff to satisfy customer needs.
• Report unsafe situations to management.
