Job summary

Val Ward Cadillac, Inc. is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our service team in Florida.

The role focuses on diagnosing and testing vehicle systems, driving vehicles for test purposes, and performing preventive maintenance with accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, ASE certification or related technical degree and at least one year in a service department, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred).
• One year in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test systems to ensure they are secure and working properly.
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect fuel and fluid levels.
• Maintain tire pressure and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Install oil drain plug and oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles with precision and efficiency.
• Repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns.
• Use power and hand tools to perform tasks.
