Job summary

CarMax is hiring an Associate to perform quality inspections, general service repairs and diagnostics across brake, engine, and HVAC systems. You will handle 4-wheel alignments, steering and suspension work, and safety inspections while ensuring CarMax Mechanical Quality Standards are met.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong customer service during interactions with customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and diagnostics resulting from quality opportunities.
• Must have great attention to detail and manual dexterity in both arms and hands.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs including brakes, engine, heating/air conditioning, steering and suspension, and 4-wheel alignments.
• Drive vehicles to/from locations as requested by Manager.
• Maintain, repair and clean tools and spaces; provide outstanding customer service.
