Job summary

Northside Chevrolet is seeking a Level B Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at our San Antonio Service Department. The role emphasizes adherence to factory standards, effective communication with parts staff, and accurate documentation of repairs.

The technician will participate in ongoing manufacturer training, supervise apprentices as needed, and support safety and organization in a busy shop environment. A GM and ASE certification path is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• GM Certification and ASE Certification preferred.
• Automotive technical training or equivalent experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards with efficiency.
• Communicate with Parts and Service advisors to obtain parts and information.
• Perform repairs, road test vehicles, and document work on repair orders.
• Supervise apprentices when assigned and participate in training.
• Adhere to safety, hazardous materials handling, and shop policies.
