Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles to our safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance understanding.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE certifications where required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax’s high standards for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to solve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
