Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet high safety and quality standards. You will work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility, gaining hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles while following EH&S policies.

A valid driver's license and ASE certifications are expected, with opportunity for growth. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external hires and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing engines, steering and suspension, brakes and HVAC.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills; valid driver's license.
