Job summary

Bergey's Kia- Colmar, PA is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle components with minimal supervision. The role targets a B-Class general service technician background and requires ASE certifications and state emissions/inspector credentials.

State Vehicle Inspector Certification
Valid Driver's License
Pre-employment background checks and drug screening

Responsibilities

Performs diagnosis and repairs of vehicle components as outlined on repair orders.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer.
Examines vehicle to determine additional safety or service work.
Communicates with service advisor if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within promised time.
Documents all work performed on repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to test technician.
Other tasks as assigned.
