Job summary

Hertz is seeking an Automotive Technician in Honolulu, Hawaii to diagnose and repair vehicles with a strong focus on preventative maintenance. You will work independently and collaborate with the team to keep gear and vehicles in top condition, including engine and transmission repairs.

The role requires ASE Certification and a minimum of three years of vehicle maintenance experience, with access to lifts, tire equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.

Qualifications

• ASE Certified is required for this role.
• Trade School is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work to keep vehicles in running condition.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and handle complex repairs such as engine and transmission.
• Work both independently and as part of a maintenance team, using shop equipment as needed.
