Job summary

SmogMart Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking an ASE-certified or ASE-ready technician to diagnose and repair brakes, A/C, and general systems on domestic, Asian and European vehicles.

You will write clear findings with photos for the service writer, road-test the vehicle, and stand behind your work. This role requires 3+ years in a professional shop and owning your own tools; Lift, scan tools and A/C equipment are provided by us. Schedule is Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation; Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a professional shop; ASE certs preferred.
• Your own tools are required; lifts, scan tools and A/C equipment are provided by us.
• Diagnostic thinking is essential; avoid parts-cannon repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair: brakes, A/C, check-engine, cooling, starting/charging, timing belts, tune-ups.
• Write clear findings with photos for the service writer.
• Road-test and stand behind your work.
