Job summary

DCH Toyota Scion of Oxnard is hiring a Service Technician, Class C, for full-time work at our Oxnard dealership. The role offers pay ranging from $20 to $40 per flat-rate hour. You will perform repair work per repair orders, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and quality in every service provided.

Responsibilities include road-testing vehicles, recording labor, and maintaining certifications. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, with manufacturer training and ASE

Qualifications

• Automotive technical knowledge with 3+ years.
• Manufacturer certification in all listed repair areas.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in your state.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
