Job summary

ZanesvilleToyota in Ohio is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance, test components, and communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional work and time estimates.

The ideal candidate will have ASE Certification, 2+ years of experience, strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment with excellent customer service. Relocation assistance may be available for well-qualified technicians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computing skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed repairs and estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
