Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in West Point, Virginia to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability. You will recondition components across engines, brakes, steering and suspension, joining a team that values integrity and excellence in a climate-controlled facility.

Ongoing training and advanced tools support your growth as you gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and EH&S

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC as required for the role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ASE certifications where required.
