Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Florida is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our Bridgestone Retail Operations team. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance of seasoned technicians, perform routine inspections, and assist in repair procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role offers flat-rate pay with a pay range of $17.50 to $26.30 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental and vision from day one, paid vacation, on-the-job

Qualifications

  • Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license must be maintained at all times.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
  • Install parts as needed.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Pursue A.S.E. certifications within two years (company funds tests).
