Job summary

Rochester Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Special Education - ASD Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Rochester, MN. Qualifications

• Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required: Grade K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders or Academic Behavior Strategist.
• RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.
• Urban, multicultural education experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a 1.0 FTE special education setting.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to implement IEPs and evidence-based practices.
