Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking an ASC Cath Lab RT to assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures at the CIS Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will perform radiologic tasks under physician supervision, uphold strict radiation safety, and contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT and BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• At least 2 years of Cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cardiovascular care by assisting physicians during complex procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond to changes requiring clinical intervention.
• Support equipment maintenance, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Expand expertise by mastering advanced cardiovascular technologies and mentoring teammates.

About the Role:

As an ASC Cath Lab RT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care by assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) Ambulatory Surgery Center. Working under the direct supervision of the physician, you will perform routine to complex radiologic and cardiovascular procedures that support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for outpatient patients.
