SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties is seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead abatement projects in Villa Rica, GA. You will supervise crews, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide safety protocols on residential and commercial sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on training to maintain strict safety standards and project documentation while delivering quality restoration services to the community.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Asbestos Supervisor license or certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in asbestos abatement or environmental remediation.
• Knowledge of EPA NESHAP, OSHA 1926.1101, and Georgia EPD regulations.
• Proven supervisory or crew leadership experience in the field.
• AHERA Supervisor/Contractor certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct asbestos abatement crews on residential and commercial job sites.
• Ensure full compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations throughout all abatement projects.
• Conduct pre-job site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety briefings.
• Oversee proper containment setup, PPE usage, and decontamination procedures.
• Coordinate waste disposal and maintain accurate project documentation and chain-of-custody records.
• Communicate project progress and updates to project managers and clients.
• Train and mentor abatement technicians on safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
