The Lead Technician for Serclean’s Asbestos Division is responsible for overseeing day-to-day asbestos abatement operations and supervising field crews. This includes managing containment setup, safe material removal, regulatory compliance, jobsite documentation, and customer communication.
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2 years in asbestos abatement, Water Mitigation or hazardous materials work.
Certifications: State-required asbestos supervisor certifications strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to read asbestos reports, scopes, and regulatory documents.
Other Requirements: Clean background check, drug test, and valid Georgia driver's license.

Ability to wear full asbestos PPE: respirators, protective suits, gloves, safety glasses, and work boots. Includes office and field work. Field conditions involve asbestos contamination zones with strict PPE procedures required.
