Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Air Monitoring Specialist in Colorado to perform asbestos, lead paint, and regulated building material inspections while overseeing abatement activities and supporting due diligence during renovations or demolitions. You will collect field data, bulk samples, and review laboratory documents to support reporting.

The role includes assisting Project Managers with conclusions and recommendations and maintaining field monitoring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field, or 4 years of related experience.
Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for client and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

Perform asbestos, lead paint, and regulated building material inspections.
Oversee asbestos abatement and participate in site due diligence during renovations or demolitions.
Collect field data, bulk samples, and review laboratory documents for reporting.
Prepare reports and site maps; assist Project Managers with conclusions and recommendations.
Maintain and calibrate field monitoring equipment; adhere to safety standards.
