Job summary

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQM) seeks a field technician to support emergency response and time-critical cleanup projects.

You will perform sampling and cleanup of hazardous waste, work in all levels of PPE, and assist with containment, demolition, soil excavation, and site restoration. This role requires physical labor outdoors, overtime and travel as needed, and completion of safety certifications such as AHERA, First Aid/CPR/AED, and arsenic/lead/asbestos awareness.

Qualifications

DESCRIPTION/POSITION SUMMARY

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is an emergency response and rapid services contractor to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency providing real-time emergency and time-critical environmental removal actions. Work involves containment and removal of hazardous materials from the environment under varied site conditions. Worksite activities may also include demolition, soil excavation, dredging, and site restoration.

This position performs sampling and cleanup of hazardous waste. Applies technical skills in handling hazardous substances. Works in all levels of PPE.
