Job summary

RiverStone in Manchester, NH is seeking an APO Claims Analyst to handle asbestos, pollution, and latent liability claims from historical policies. Hybrid work in a collaborative, risk-focused environment.

You will review notices, interpret coverage, coordinate with defense counsel, and support settlements while maintaining licenses and staying compliant. Bachelor’s degree required; JD/CPCU/SCLA/CCLA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of claims handling experience, litigation experience, or related background.
• Experience with management and evaluation of litigation and claims.
• Experience with coverage analysis preferred, but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage asbestos, pollution, and/or other claims involving historical insurance policies
• Review lawsuit and/or claim notices and interpret policy coverage
• Coordinate with defense counsel, expert witnesses, and peer insurance carriers
• Evaluate liability and damages
• Drive litigation strategy and settlement negotiations
• Collaborate with the Reinsurance team on reporting and recovery efforts
• Support due diligence requests and travel as needed
• Maintain required adjuster licenses

• Manage asbestos, pollution, and/or other claims involving historical insurance policies
• Review lawsuit and/or claim notices and interpret policy coverage
