Job summary

Daifuku is seeking an AS/RS Crane Technician to service and maintain unit-load stacker cranes at a major distribution center near the Port of Savannah. You will service crane drives, hoist mechanisms, and telescoping forks, maintain the rail system, and troubleshoot communication between cranes and the warehouse control system.

Role requires 3+ years of AS/RS or complex automated equipment experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, comfort working at heights above 80 feet, and PLC

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AS/RS crane or complex automated equipment experience.
• Electrical skills including servo drives, encoders, and safety circuits.
• Mechanical skills for hoist, rail, and carriage maintenance.
• Comfort working at heights within AS/RS aisles (80+ feet).
• PLC monitoring and basic troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain unit-load stacker cranes at a major distribution center near the Port of Savannah.
• Service crane drives, hoist mechanisms, and telescoping forks.
• Maintain the rail system and alignment of components.
• Troubleshoot positioning and communication issues between cranes and the warehouse control system.
