Job summary

The City of Roseville is seeking an Arts Program Leader to guide and coordinate cultural arts initiatives and activities, fostering creativity within the community.

You will work with staff and instructors, develop engaging programs, and ensure high-quality experiences for participants while promoting inclusivity and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Two seasons of paid experience in administering and coordinating arts programs.
• Supervising staff or instructors desirable.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade or higher; GED acceptable.
• CPR and First Aid certificates within six months of hire.
• Valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) seasons of paid experience in administering and coordinating arts educational, recreational or cultural programs in school, community center, library or a similar setting. Experience in supervising staff or instructors is desirable.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree. Additional coursework in arts education or a related field is desirable.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certificates within six (6) months of hire.
• Note: Minors may have preclusions or restrictions in duties assigned and licenses required pursuant to 29 CFR § 570.

Supplemental information: Foreign Degree Evaluation

• Educational background from a foreign country may be evaluated by an accredited United States college or university listed on the U.S. Department of Education Database of Accredited Post-Secondary Institutions and Programs website.
• Verification of degree equivalency may be obtained from organizations that provide foreign education credential evaluation services. The City of Roseville will accept verification from any of the listed member agencies found athttp://www.naces.orgorwww.aice-eval.org.
• A copy of the foreign credential evaluation verification can be attached to the employment application.
• If you are offered a position with the City of Roseville, as a part of the pre-employment steps, applicants must provide a foreign degree credential equivalency certificate from an approved member agency above.
