Job summary

Pig Iron Theatre Company seeks a Development Manager to design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy. You will work with the Managing Director and leadership to advance Pig Iron’s artistry and MFA/Certificate program, while supporting donor relations and board communications.

The role involves grant writing, campaigns, donor cultivation, and event coordination. Hours are typically 9am-5pm with occasional evenings for events; some remote work may be approved.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit fundraising experience required.
• Grant writing, reporting, and donor relations experience preferred.
• Experience in fundraising campaigns, events, and major gifts helpful.

Responsibilities

• Raise funds for Pig Iron Theatre Company and MFA/Certificate program.
• Manage grant writing, reporting, and donor communications.
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns, including campaigns and events.
• Serve as Board liaison and support executive leadership with donor cultivation.
