Job summary

IslandWood's Artist in Residence program brings teaching artists of various disciplines to work with elementary and graduate students, offering collaborative art projects that let learners express themselves and discover new things about their world. Residencies run 3 days/2 nights (Mon–Wed) from October to May, with 75–150 minute workshops on Tue and Wed for 4th–6th graders, group sizes 12–15.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops ranging 75–150 minutes with 4th–6th grade students on Tue & Wed.
• Provide professional development workshop for graduate students and staff.
• Deliver sessions in studio, classrooms, or outdoors.
• Honorarium up to $1,000 based on workshops taught.
