Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Food Production Worker for the Humble, TX facility on 2nd shift (5pm–3am) and (8pm–6am). No prior experience is required as training will be provided, and you will assist with preparation, movement, and sanitation duties to keep a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

You will operate equipment, monitor quality, and support ongoing production while adhering to safety and food-quality standards.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist in different areas as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production, handling, and movement of products within the facility
• Operate production equipment and machinery as assigned
• Inspect products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Load and unload racks, containers, and materials
• Move products in and out of coolers, freezers, and storage areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Follow all safety, food quality, and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Important: This position includes cleaning and sanitation tasks as part of regular job responsibilities, such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash. Candidates must be comfortable performing these duties.
