A Beauty and Body Salon and MedSpa in Miami Lakes, FL is seeking a skilled Nail Technician to deliver manicures, gel nails, acrylics, and extensions with precision. This role offers flexible rental and commission options to help you grow your clientele.

You will apply color theory, maintain strict sanitation, and upsell nail care products while staying current with trends in nail art and services in a friendly, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry, especially with gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs
• Ability to perform detailed nail care services while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with color theory, nail art techniques, and retail sales strategies
• Additional skills such as hair styling, body waxing, eyelash extensions or hair threading are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and creativity
• Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments to promote healthy, beautiful feet
• Apply color theory principles to help clients choose the perfect shades and designs for their style
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean environment
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, gels, or accessories to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and industry best practices
