Job summary

Brobston Group LLC seeks a hands-on leather repair technician to restore handbags, wallets, luggage, and related items. You will perform sewing, painting, cutting, and other repair tasks under supervision while meeting production goals.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fully onsite environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Pass manual dexterity/sewing test.
• Leather or canvas sewing knowledge is a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills are a plus.
• Detail-, quality-, and safety-oriented with ability to complete repairs start-to-finish.

Responsibilities

• Repair products to company quality specifications and guidelines.
• Perform sewing, painting, cutting, and other repair operations as required.
• Use manual tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Examine finished products to verify conformance to quality standards and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; demonstrate punctuality.
• Participate in improvement projects and identify opportunities to enhance processes.
• Work fully onsite Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and be available for overtime as business demands.

Works under the supervision of the Client Care Services Production Supervisor and performs sewing, painting, cutting, and other repair tasks to restore handbags, wallets, luggage, and related items. Requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently and within a team to meet production goals.

Requirements
