Job summary

Raley's in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an AJ's Cheese Specialist to own the cheese program, provide samples, educate guests, and drive sales through inspired hospitality.

You will manage day-to-day cheese operations, maintain displays, plan sampling events, coordinate with wine pairings, and ensure cleanliness and inventory. This role involves interaction with guests and vendor engagement, within a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages with guests and educates on artisan cheese with inspired hospitality.
• Maintains cheese department with attention to detail and clean displays.
• Plans and executes an active sampling program (2–3 sessions weekly).
• Manages purchasing, receiving, stocking, and inventory to drive sales.
• Keeps safe, sanitary department operations and backstock organized.
• Participates in vendor relations and supports cross-merchandising.
