Qualifications

• Current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Enjoys working with and handling artisan breads and dough.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Basic math skills used to half or double recipes.
• Knowledge of baking procedures and times.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Must possess solid communication skills with customers and fellow associates.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides.
• Maintains the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the artisan bread counter.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products, paying attention to ad items.
• Ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
• Follows precise recipes and techniques for mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking Harmons’ artisan breads.
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Bakery as a whole.
