About the Role:

We’re looking for a curious, technically minded AI Lab Intern who has real experience working with artificial intelligence or machine learning in a university research environment.

You’re currently a college junior or senior working in an AI or machine learning lab—as a research assistant, undergraduate researcher, or student conducting your own research under the guidance of a professor. You’ve spent meaningful time working with AI models and have developed your own perspective on where they succeed, where they fail, and why.

This internship is an opportunity to take that academic experience into the real world.

You’ll explore what happens when the techniques you’ve worked with in the lab meet messy operational data, real users, and actual deadlines. You’ll help experiment with AI solutions, evaluate their performance, identify failure points, and translate research concepts into practical applications.

What You’ll Do:

  What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled as a college junior or senior
  • Currently working or conducting research in a university AI, machine learning, computer science, data science, or related lab
  • Experience as a research assistant, undergraduate researcher, or student researcher
  • Hands-on experience working with AI or machine learning models
  • A strong curiosity about how AI systems actually behave—not just how they are supposed to behave
  • Ability to think critically about model outputs and identify errors, limitations, and failure modes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
