ASRC Federal in Huntsville, AL is seeking an intermediate AI engineer to join an AI/ML team supporting enterprise automation, analytics, and insight initiatives for the U.S. Army ACC CIO G6 at Redstone Arsenal.

This is a 100% on-site role in secure, on-premises environments. You will design, build, train, and deploy AI/ML capabilities, coordinate delivery of solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of AI/ML experience.
• Experience with enterprise AI/ML platforms and tools.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience with prompt engineering and data preprocessing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

ASRC Federal is seeking an intermediate AI engineer to join an AI/ML team supporting enterprise automation, analytics, and insight initiatives for the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) CIO G6 at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This is a 100% on-site role where you will design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning capabilities in secure, on-premises environments.

What you will do

• Support enterprise-wide automation, analytics, and insight initiatives through work in an AI/ML team
• Coordinate the technical delivery of AI solutions aligned to mission-specific use cases
• Design, develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world applications
• Evaluate model performance and implement improvements based on feedback from users and systems
• Analyze and preprocess large datasets to enable AI/ML pipelines
• Deploy AI/ML models in secure, on-premises environments, ensuring performance and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and refine solutions for maximum impact
• Use tools such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Copilot to create actionable insights and automation tools
• Draft documentation and provide guidance on AI usage to non-technical users

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in AI/ML
• Experience with one or more: Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with one or more: AI/ML platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or similar enterprise tools
• Experience with one or more: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with one or more: Prompt engineering
• Experience with one or more: Preprocessing and analyzing large data sets
• Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to manage and guide technical teams
• Ability to define and document AI/ML use cases in coordination with stakeholders

Additional preferences

• Familiarity with Agile development and MLOps practices

Security clearance and certification

• Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance
