Job summary

Hyra is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consultant to design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data to extract actionable insights, and maintaining AI applications to ensure reliability.

The candidate should have a degree in CS/engineering/math, proven AI/ML experience, familiarity with NLP and computer vision, and Python/R/Java skills.

Job Description Job Description POSITION TITLE: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consultant

LOCATION : VIRTUAL/REMOTE (Occasional travel is required)

Local to Middletown, PA is preferred ( candidate is required to be on site in Middletown, PA within 3 hours in case of emergency)

Interview and equipment pickup / orientation day (for selected candidate) will be at the client site in Middletown, PA with no travel reimbursement.

Description of Duties:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address AI-related challenges.
• Analyze and interpret complex data to extract actionable insights.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot existing AI applications and models, including fixing bugs and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Continuously improve AI models through iteration and experimentation.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Document and present findings and results to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and Azure Synapse and data workflows (pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Overtime requests need to have prior approval of Project Principal with the rightful reasons for overtime.
