Job summary

Lesley University is seeking a full-time Core Faculty member in Art Therapy for the undergraduate Psychology+ program in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on teaching, advising, and mentoring students while developing the Art Therapy specialization and minor, with opportunities for curriculum advancement and service to the university.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in Art Therapy with ATR/ATR-BC credentials and have at least two years of undergraduate teaching or equivalent experience,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy or closely related field (required).
• Current ATR/ATR-BC credentials preferred/required.
• Two+ years of undergraduate teaching experience or equivalent.
• Clinical or professional Art Therapy experience relevant to the role.
• Ability to teach diverse students with inclusive, culturally responsive pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise undergraduate students in the Psychology+ program (Art Therapy specialization).
• Contribute to curriculum development and program initiatives.
• Mentor students and participate in University service and activities.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within teaching and mentoring.
