Saint Simons By-The-Sea on St Simons Island, GA, is seeking an Art Therapist to design and lead recreation therapy programs tailored to individual interests, assess leisure needs, and develop treatment plans that support well-being and progress.

You will collaborate with Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, and Therapy across an inpatient behavioral health setting, participate in treatment meetings, and help expand patient opportunities with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credential required.
• Experience in inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead recreation therapy program including fitness, creative arts, outdoor activities, and special events; build engaging weekly schedules.
• Collaborate with Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, and Therapy to align services with treatment goals.
• Participate in treatment meetings and partnerships with community agencies.
