About the Role

Success Academy is a large, fast‑growing network of public charter schools committed to delivering a rigorous, whole‑child education. We are looking for talented Art Teachers with a robust background in Visual Arts to engage our Scholars and foster a love for art.

Responsibilities

• Build a safe and joyful classroom culture in which scholars develop a love for art.
• Engage students in the creative process and deepen their knowledge of art, design, and art history.
• Collaborate with Art Teachers across the network to build a premier art program, cultivating a school environment that prioritizes aesthetics and makes learning visible to the community.
• Build a culture of self‑expression, using inquiry‑based teaching and learning to encourage scholars’ critical and conceptual thinking about art.
• Participate in multiple professional development sessions to receive targeted, in‑the‑moment feedback on instruction, accelerating learning and growth with unparalleled support.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, or Ceramics) or Art Education.
• Outstanding record of academic achievement.
• Art or art education portfolio that showcases skill‑set and demonstrates passion for art and learning.
• Experience with holistic exposure to art and art history.
• Ability to set ambitious goals for yourself and high expectations for Scholars.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $65,000 – $65,000 USD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. Success Academy offers a full benefits program and opportunities for professional growth.
